VRC engages in a broad range of risk management consulting services.  As an independent consultant, we provide impartial advice on a fee basis.  We do not sell insurance or accept any form of commission compensation from insurance companies based on the sale of insurance products.   Recent projects have included insurance risk management program reviews, captive feasibility studies and implementation, merger & acquisition due diligence, insurance broker evaluation and selection, and review of the personal insurance programs of the owners of a mid-sized private company, as well as providing advice on the client's business insurance. In addition, VRC has recently provided an independent review of a major non-profit organization's Directors' and Officers' Liability Insurance program and provided advice to a major multinational corporation in its audit of its insurance broker's placement practices and compensation. Mr. Viscardi is also working with a multi-discipline group supporting the development of national emergency preparedness standards.  This effort is being coordinated with ASTM International and homeland security agencies at the federal and state levels.
